Today I made a second attempt at Pigs in a Blanket. I used Schar GF Puff Pastry and Lightlife Vegan Hot Dogs, both are GF and vegan.
Because the puff pastry has no gluten it tears very easily. I had to work hard to patch it at each tear.
First I thawed the puff pastry, then opened the hot dog package and place them on the pastry. Rolling them up created many cracks in the dough. I pressed bits together with one finger.
Then I baked them for 13 minutes @400 degrees a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper.
They are greasy but nice. Next time I’ll add salt.
